Rollerskating

Today we went rollerskating. It was so much fun. I don’t think that I have been roller staking in who knows how long.
When I woke up this morning I started sneezing. My door opens, and little 3yo C pops his head in. “Are you OK?” I told him that I was fine, he closes the door, and I start sneezing again. Again the door opens, and again a little head pops in. This time her just looks at me. It was really sweet.
We met at V’s house at eleven. We were actually on time, which was really good. We had had a hard time being out the door by 10:00 a.m. lately.
We met there then went to get sandwiches from the store for lunch. They had a whole section with pre-maid sandwiches, including stuff like shrimp, or prawn, sandwiches. I got chocolate milk. I haven’t drank milk since we got here. No one else has, so I figured that it was more expensive here, which I found out it is, so I have only had it in my cereal.
Roller skating was so much fun. I quickly found out, though, that it uses a whole different set of muscles, and by the time I had done one lap my legs were burning. I sat down, did another lap, sat down, did two, etc.. By the time we left, though, I was fine.

Do you guys know what the cha cha slide is? It is a song that they do at dances, kind of like Simon says. It has you jump up and down, stomp you foot, slide to the right or left, all kinds of stuff. Did you know that you can do it on roller skates? Silly me, when they said one hop, I tried it. After that when they said to hop I stomped one foot, it was safer. We also did YMCA and another song that I had never heard before about pizza hut, KFY, and McDonald’s.
When we came home we just relaxed.
