Hi, My name is Samantha, I am eighteen. I made this as a place to write about my day, things my family or I did, if I read something that I was impressed by, pictures I have taken, or just thought that I have had.
I am currently living in Colorado. I was born in Mississippi, though my parents were living in Louisiana at the time. We left Louisiana when I was about six, then moved to Utah. After that we went to Kentucky, Georgia, Alabama, Nebraska, Utah, Wyoming, Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Washington state, Arkansas, Colorado, Nebraska, New Mexico, Nebraska, Florida, and now we are in Colorado. Wow, I actually had quite a bit of trouble remembering all that.
I am the oldest of nine, five boys, four girls. Ryan is sixteen, Logan is fifteen, Jenny is thirteen, Tommy eleven, Joshua nine, Jessica five, Sarah four, Levi two. People ask me what it is like being the oldest of nine, I tell them that it is interesting and that you never get bored. I do really enjoy it, even though some days I wish that they would all just go away and give me some peace and quiet.
I have been homeschooled my whole life except my freshmen year of highschool, when I went to school in Nebraska. I did well, and in some ways enjoyed it, but my parents and I decided that I should come home(yes, I did have a big part in the decision, both to go to school and to come home). I am currently trying to decide what to do now. Most likely I will go to the community college here for a year while living at home, then go somewhere a little better. There is also a possibility that I will spend a semester in Russia.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I have recently taken up cross-stitching. I have finished a picture of the Atlanta Georgia temple, and have started on the Salt Lake temple.
I love to read, maybe to much. I am trying to cut down on this because I have a habit of doing this instead of the things that I am supposed to be doing, like math.
I like cooking, piano, hiking, mountains, and photography.
I am the primary pianist in my ward.
I think that that is about it.
Great blog here! I am the oldest of eight, and now I have a blended family with seven kids, so I know what it is like to have a big family.

Great blog Samantha!! I love seeing the pics – since we don’t see each other very much. I have never met Levi and he is two years old already…unbelieveable!! We should arrange for our families to get together soon….
